CelticReject has made a comment on Making Coffee and Occasional tables in Oak Part 4 of 4: It must fill you with a tremendous satisfaction to look at your table when finished and think ' I MADE That '! Great stuff. Has inspired me to take up woodworking in the new year. Thanks.

So glad you emailed me to notify me that you posted this video. For some reason I am no longer subscribed to your YouTube channel. When I saw your finished work I thought WOW! I’ll bet your subjects really liked this! I got a new computer for Christmas and have been spending hours and hours trying to get it set up (Have been working on it since Dec 21 and yesterday I finally got everything working!) I think that may be the reason all my YouTube subscriptions have disappeared. Hope your Holidays where fantastic and Happy New Year!

Dear sir, I am a pastelist who is also handicapped and have a harder time of standing when painting in Plein Air. After watching your video, “The Foundation to Pastel Painting” once again, I think the easel that you use throughout the painting demonstrations, the Kneesel, would help me. But the problem I cannot find anyone who sells this easel, especially not here in the United States. If I may be so bold as to ask where and/or who you got yours from? I really appreciate any help you may be able to provide.

Thank you James W. Carroll

henrycems has made a comment on Beginners/Intermediate - Painting a double Portrait in Watercolour: Wow,
I don’t think I have seen you work so tight before. I learned more from this video about painting people than any other I have seen by anyone. I may try a portrait for my cousin who is a John Lennon fan. I am looking for the right photo to go by. This video is a gem for anyone wanting to learn loose and tight watercolor methods, very well done.
This needs to be on one of your DVDs.

pmazie has made a comment on Beginners/Intermediate - Painting a double Portrait in Watercolour: It's a treat to watch you paint. So informative!

o8rufus has made a comment on Beginners/Intermediate - Painting a double Portrait in Watercolour: Hi Peter, Thank you so very much for such an amazing video, this is excellent what a great learning tool, this is exactly what I was hoping for. I am amazed what you were able to do with these portraits in such a small scale, they are just wonderful, you are truly gifted. The scenery and the colors you used to paint the scenery is a real compliment to the figures. Your client should be delighted to have this portrait. You have inspired me to try a portrait myself, I am very grateful.

o8rufus has sent you a message: Latest Portrait Video - Hi Peter - I hope you got my response to your wonderful video, once again I want to thank you.

TheStevenskara has sent you a message: Taxidermy - Hello, I want to thank you very much for your videos on preparing fish mounts. I am doing some research in Nicaragua and will need to do some fish mounts using local materials. I wanted to ask you how you think the weight of the fish after being mounted with the sawdust method compares to the actual weight of the fish? Is it much heavier? What are your thoughts on using cotton instead of (or maybe in addition to sawdust)? Thanks again for posting these videos - they are a huge help! I haven't done much of this before. The fish I'll be mounting are croaker, weakfish, jack and catfish. Many thanks, Kara

henrycems has made a comment on A 'Rum do' in Cuba - Peter Wood. My Art adventure series.: part two of my comment.I love the three panel artwork you have near the end, I have never seen anything like that before. I did snag a few screen shots to use for some paintings I will let you see them when I get them done. I am waiting on some tube watercolor paint to arrive I ordered, still trying different brands to see what I like best.
Again thank you for sharing with us.

henrycems has made a comment on Free demonstration to a small local art club - Watercolour - Cuba..: This was a real treat to watch this film of you talking and teaching a group. I remember when you moved back you said you wanted to do this. You are a very fine teacher and we lost when you retired. The painting was great I like the way you did the reflection of the building in the street very simple. I am glad you talked a little about Ron Ranson I am reading one of his books. Great job with this my friend hope all is well take care.

Hi Peter, - I love your oil pastels demonstration on You Tube. The sky is very good indeed, in fact it almost looks as if it's been painted in oils, not pastels. - I'm an aspiring amateur artist who, some months , bought a box of expensive ago Sennellier Oil Pastels, which are pretty good. - Are Unison pastels significantly superior to Sennellier ? Perhaps you could please let me know. - I'd be good to hear from you, Peter. - Best wishes -Dave, UK

Hi Peter, Many thanks for sending the DVDs so swiftly. I have enjoyed watching them and know that they will be of great assistance to me in the future. All the best. Evelyn Callender

Dear Peter,

Cycling from my home in Oegstgeest (NL) to my son in Southeastern
France (Vallauris) I passed this chapel and stopped for a moment to
take pictures. Seeing all you undertook to up-lift the chapel and to
make it the center of the universe, I regret that I did not know and
failed to take the time to descend for a moment. Thanks to your
website, I now know what is inside and I can appreaciate your art and
dedication. I fear that most motorists never notice and just pass by.
All the best to you. Next time, I'll take more notice.

jimbronaugh has made a comment on Total demo of a self portrait in Watercolour: I can't begin to tell you how helpful this has been to me. Thank you for sharing your skills and talent.

jimbronaugh has made a comment on A complete demonstration in watercolour on an imperial sheet, cafe scene Vienna: Wow. The fortitude that it would take to undertake a painting this complex in front of an audience would be daunting. Then to have it turn out to be this beautiful, glowing image is mind boggling.
The color pattern grabbed me when you placed the red bodice on the woman on the middle left, but when you added that tree with the wonderful golden yellow and green, the whole painting started to glow. Amazing, and as you said, I do love to make marks. Thank you for showing this.

Missyunforgettable has made a comment on A demonstration painting figures french street pt 2 of 2: I was wondering if you had a blog or website? I think this painting is absolutely gorgeous

Missyunforgettable has made a comment on A 'Rum do' in Cuba - Peter Wood. My Art adventure series.: You are so generous and your videos always make me feel as if I'm on location with you. Thank you for showing the scenery in this one and in Vienna.

juriaan13 has made a comment on Volume 2 of Painting figures within flowers: wow I really enjoyed this thank you!

Hi Peter,I thought I would let you know that the DVD's arrived today and I have
spent the day watching you! :-)Many thanks for sending them so promptly, watching you paint is truly
inspirational if not a little intimidating ;-)I have art and creativity in me in mind, but every time I try and do
anything 'arty' I get frustrated and disappointed with the results... I do have a tendancy to be too critical of anything I do ( not just art
related ) so this doesnt help....... but I cant help feeling as I watch more of your brilliant techniques that a lot of it sometimes relies on
being able to draw ( which I cannot do however hard I try :-( ) this worries me as to the success that I may have with these different
mediums that I have never tried before ie: pastels, watercolours etc.Anyway, I will try some of the easy things you suggest and hope for the
best.... I really would love to be able to paint with pastels successfully as this medium interests me the most...... I am able to do
little else at the moment given my circumstances with ill health etc and I think that it will give me a lot of joy if I can master it to even a basic standard.

Many thanks and best wishes
Sally.

My friend I want to thank you so much for doing the demonstration for me and for making it personal to me I cannot thank you enough. I have watched it twice and taking notes as to what you say about building tones gradually with thin paint. Also about how the flesh and the knife blade reflect what is around it. The way you added a more interesting background is great it adds more interest to the overall painting. I also learned that if you mess up you can save it like you did with the little finger, I would have scraped the whole thing but you fixed it and made it work.
Again thank you my friend.
We are having a prayer meeting tonight and we will say a prayer for your health my friend God bless.

Alfred
