The Eagle wings are also welcoming hands . In the absence
of killer whales, here, I substitute a Pike.
The Artboat is back on the water !
Butterflies come in for the salts in the ash from winter
Bonfire. Wild "Forget me nots" brighten the garden and
a small Pike lurks by my pontoon.
The scenery becomes so very green again! The outside
of Le Paradou is almost as I envisaged it, outside walls re built
for hall and all colouring now done. The old windows from original
cafe, now my house, have been re used for cafe. The gardens are
looking good and the underground irrigation system I have installed
to each section, with a pump from the Lot works well. This year
should see much of my plans come to fuition. All of the interior
is almost completed. My main and final problem, at present, is
the demand by the fire regs. that I have E8,300 of new fireproof
ceilings installed in Cafe and gallery! Unless I can get assistance
from Aveyron I am out of funds!! So all stops at this final hurdle.
The project has cost about E300,000 - to date.
The gallery, still to have a ceiling -- and one wall
of multi medium studio with new woodturning lathe and tool sets.
Spring Wild foods - Wild Leeks to go with a Salad and
tests on two Fungi for Spoors. The white ones are good to eat
- but not the pink, both growing side by side.
Orange Tip butterfly and the Chapel of "La Femme
Du Lac" has had a loving hand working at its garden.
