The winter ski ing can be good - and inexpensive. The
nearest slope is under an hour away!
This is the time of year when logs are needed for my
cosy log burner, some get washed up at Le Paradou, or are lassoed
as they pass and dragged up with a 4 x 4 - but here we had two
very big and difficult brittle Acacias to deal with that gave
a few heart stopping moments as they came down!!
As you see the ;logs are well worth it !! Note the
roast chestnuts in pan on top?
My new bird feeders are being well used all winter
and the families of Tits that bred last year are always present.
And so we move towards another spring in the Gorge
du Lot.
